Eye Scream by Deb Davids

Hi, 

Actually, I wasn't going to show these cards until Halloween. But I think they turned out cool that I can't wait for that.  I actually only used 4 products from Whimsy Stamps. But then again you don't have to use many products to make a nice series of cards. You just have to make sure you have the right ones. 

Eigenlijk zou ik deze kaartjes pas op Halloween laten zien. Maar ik vind ze gaaf geworden dat ik daar niet mee kan wachten. Eigenlijk heb ik maar 4 producten van Whimsy Stamps gebruikt. Maar ja dan hoef je ook niet veel producten te gebruiken om een mooie serie kaarten te maken. 

Like the cool designer paper "Nevermore" designed by Deb Davids. Not to mention the incredibly cool Halloween Stamps she designed. 

Je hoeft alleen maar te zorgen dat de juiste in huis hebt. Zoals het gave designpapier "Nevermore" dat ontworpen is door Deb Davids. En dan hebben we het nog maar niet over de ontzettend gave Halloween Stempels die zij ontworpen heeft.

All of these cool stamps you can get, of course, at Whimsy Stamps. For this series you used the new clear stamp set " Eye Scream".

Al deze gave stempels kun je natuurlijk komen bij Whimsy Stamps. Voor deze serie heb je de nieuw clearstempel set " Eye Scream" gebruikt.

Normally I would have written down Copic Marker color but I totally forgot. I will try to do that again for you next time of course

Get my monkeys by Dustin Pike

 Hi,

I think this is one of the Halloween cards that I had the most fun with when I made it. I was all smiles when I saw grumpy monkey. I knew I had to use it to make a funny Halloween card.

Dit is denk ik wel één van de Halloween kaarten waar ik de meeste lol mee had toen ik hem maakte. Ik lag helemaal in een deuk toen ik mopperde aapje zag. ik wist dat ik moest gebruiken om een grappig Halloween kaart te maken.

I combined this digital stamp " Get my monkeys" with the Bat from the clearstamps set : "Going Batty " by Dustin Pike and with the witches legs "Spooks and Spells" by Krista Heij-Barber.

Witchy Toad by Dustin Pike

 Hi dear craft lover,

  Today I have a Halloween card for you. The construction of this card is actually very simple. I first looked at what cool Halloween papers Whimsy Stamps has in their collection. And there are some really cool versions in there. One of my favorite 6x6 paper packs is Haunted by Deb Davids. It is cheerful in color but still nice and creepy. The pack consists of all kinds of cool images and can be used on two sides.

Vandaag heb ik een Halloween kaart voor jullie. De opbouw van deze kaart is eigenlijk heel simpel. Ik heb eerst gekeken wat voor gaaf Halloween papier Whimsy Stamps in hun collectie heeft. En daar zitten me toch een paar gave versies tussen. 1 Van mijn favoriete 6x6 paper packs is toch wel Haunted van Deb Davids. Die is toch vrolijk van kleur maar toch lekker griezelig. Het pakje bestaat uit allerlei gave afbeelding en is aan twee zijdes te gebruiken.

 

As several people who have been following my for years know, I am an avid fan of Dustin Pike's image. So this time I have again chosen a digital stamp designed by him. The handy thing about those digital stamps is that you can adjust them to the size that you personally find most comfortable to work with.

 

Zoals verschillende mensen die mijn al jaren volgen weten dat ik een ontzettende fan ben van Dustin Pike zijn afbeelding. Dus heb ik ook deze keer weer eens gekozen voor een digitale stempel die door hem is ontworpen. Het handige van die digitaile stempels is dat je hem zelf kunt aanpassen aan de grote die jij persoonlijk het fijnste vind om mee te werken.

After choosing my designer paper and cardstock. I determined how big I wanted to print my image. For this card, I chose an image that was 8 cm in height. After I printed this Witchy Toad using my printer on my favorite paper. I started coloring the frog with Copic Markers.

 Nadat ik  mijn designpapier en cardstock heb uitgekozen. Heb ik bepaald hoe groot ik mijn afbeelding wilde afdrukken. Ik heb voor deze kaart gekozen voor een afbeelding van 8 cm in de hoogte. Nadat ik deze Kikker afgedrukt met mijn printer op mijn favoriete papier. Ben ik de Witchy Toad gaan inkleuren met Copic Markers.

For the construction of this stamp, I actually didn't do much special. The card I have built as follows. As a base I used a white card of 15 x 15 cm. on top of that I took a black cardstock sheet of 14,5 x 14,5 cm. On the black cardstock I glued a piece of 3D Crafty Foam  of 13,5 x13,5 cm which raises the apple green cardstock sheet of 14 x 14 cm.  On top of that I pasted another piece of 3D Crafty Foam only this time with the size 13x13 so the design paper will also be a bit higher. The design sheet I used I cut to size (13.5 x13.5 cm) so that the spacing runs nicely into each other. I also wrote Happy Halloween on the design paper with a with gel pen..

  Voor de opbouw van deze stempel heb ik eigenlijk niet zoveel bijzonders gedaan. De kaart heb ik als volgend bouwt. Als basis gebruik ik een witte kaart van 15 x 15 cm. daar op heb ik een zwart cardstock velletje van 14,5 x 14,5 cm gepakt. Op het zwarte Cardstock heb ik een stuk Zwart Foam van 13,5 x13,5 cm geplakt die de appelgroen cardstock velletje van 14 x 14 cm verhoogt.  Daar boven  heb ik nog een keer stukje Zwart Foam geplakt alleen nu met de afmeting 13x13 zodat het design papier ook weer wat hoger komt te liggen. Het design vel wat ik heb gebruikt heb ik op maat gesneden (13,5 x13,5cm) zodat het verspringen mooi in elkaar overloopt.Verder heb ik nog Happy Halloween op het designpaper geschreven met een witte gelpen.
