Cheerful Crab

 

Hallo Colourstock Fans,

 

Dit jaar is de zomer alles behalve goed. Nou ja....de afgelopen weken want deze week krijgen we gelukkig mooi weer. Maar dat maakt gelukkig niet zoveel uit, want heb ik een fanatische hobby om de zomer toch fijn door te komen. Dus maak ik er zelf een kleurige en fanatische zomer van.  Deze vrolijke digi is van Fabrika Fantasy en heet Cheerful Crab. Voor mij is dit echte plaatje wat laat zien hoe gaaf een zomer kan zijn.....lang leven de lol en doe er een paar.....gewoon lekker genieten van de zomer.

Deze keer wil ik jullie laten zien hoe ik een krab kleur.
Niet altijd heb ik de juiste Copic kleur die ik graag wil hebben voor een bepaald plaatje. Ondanks dat ik alle kleuren heb. Maar je kunt niet alles hebben en een uitdaging is altijd leuk.
Om een andere kleur te maken zet ik er soms een andere kleur onder om de juiste kleur te creëren.

Hoe ik dat doe laat ik jullie in onderstaande foto tutorial zien.

 

Stap 1:

Eerst kleur ik een onderlaag met YR02.

Ik kleur bijna heel de poot dicht. Ik laat een klein stukje open.

Stap 2:
Daarna kleur ik 3/4 van de poot dicht met YR04.
Het hoeft hier allemaal nog niet te blenden, want dat doe ik pas met de laatste laag. (de rode kleur)

Stap 3:
Met YR07 kleur ik de helft van de poot dicht van af de onderkant van de krabbepoot.

Stap 4:
 Met YR09 kleur ik alleen het onderste gedeelte de krabbepoot. (dit is de basis voor de schaduw)

Stap 5:
Met R24 ga ik de echte kleur van de poot bepalen. (oranje/rood)
Met deze kleur ik ongeveer 3/4 van de poot dicht.

Stap 6:
Nu ga ik iets doen dan wat ik normaal niet doe.
Dit doe ik omdat ik iets anders wil dan normaal......
dus ga ik ga de volgorde van de kleuren omdraaien.
Normaal gebruik ik de donkerste kleur pas in de laatste cyclus.
Die ga ik nu gebruiken voor de één na donkerste kleur R27 .... om te voorkomen dat de kleur te rood word op de krab.
Als ik te veel lagen over elkaar zet gaat effect van het oranje/rood weg.
Omdat de kleur dan te veel weg geblend wordt.
Dus met R29 ga ik eerst de schaduw van de poot zetten en daarna ga ik pas kleuren met R27

 Stap 7:
Met R27 begin ik te kleuren vanaf ongeveer 1/3 van R29.
Dit doe ik om te zorgen dat die twee kleuren goed met elkaar blenden.
Stap 8:
Met YR07 ga ik over een gedeelte wat ik gekleurd heb met R27, zodat de kleuren goed met elkaar blenden.
Dit doe ik extra omdat ik dan mooi oranje/rode tint krijg.

 

 

 Stap 9:
Met YR04 neem ik een klein stukje van de vorige kleur mee en kleur de poot verder dicht.
En zorg ik er voordat de twee kleuren zich goed met elkaar blenden.

Stap 10:
Als laatste kleur ik met YR02 de rest van de poot dicht.
Nu neem ik een stukje van de vorige kleur mee en zorg dat deze goed blend met YR04.

Deze methode gebruik ik voor heel de krab.

 

 Nadat ik alles wat oranje/rood moest worden heb gekleurd Heb ik eerst de rest van de krab gekleurd met een blauw tint. Dit steekt mooi af tegen dat oranje/rood.

 

Het blauw wat ik hiervoor gebruikt heb is B21-24-26-29

 

 

Daarna was de sombrero aan de beurt. Eerst ben ik begonnen met het gele gedeelte.
Ik heb de volgende Copic kleuren beruikt voor de schaduw Y26 en 28 voor de rest Y32 - 35 en 38

 



Voor de driehoekjes heb ik een vrolijke kleur blauw gebruikt. B00 - 01- 02  en 04

 

 

 

Daarna waren de sambaballen aan de beurt. Die heb ik gekleurd met een paar lekker zomers maar primaire kleuren B00 - 01- 02 - 04, R24 - 27 -29 en Y01-05-09

Tja en dan heb ik alleen nog de achtergrond over.......en dit is het eindresultaat.
Deze kleuren kun je vinden in het onderstaande lijstje.

Dit zijn de Copic Marker kleuren die ik gebruikt heb voor de Cheerful krab.
Voor de krab: R24-27-29 YR02-04-07-09 en B21-24-26-29
Voor de sombrero: Y26 en 28  en Y32 - 35 en 38
Voor de sambaballen: B00 - 01- 02 - 04, R24 - 27 -29 en Y01-05-09

Voor het zand : E30 - 31 - 33 - 42 - 41 - Y26 en blender

Voor de zee: B000 - 00 - 01 - 02 -04
voor de lucht: B0000 - 000 - 00 -01

Crowntail Betta Fish

A Crowntail Betta fish is maybe one of the most beautiful in the world.

Betta fish originated in the warm waters of Thailand, formerly known as Siam.

Crowntail Betta fish (Betta splendens), also called Siamese Fighting Fish, are a very popular breed with fish tank owners. Deriving the name from their unique tail fin characteristics, male Crowntail Bettas create a dramatic first impression with their vivid colors and flashy fin extensions.

Today I want to show you how you can draw an easy ocean background.

 

Step 1: First, you colour a fairly thick line with BG10.
Step 2: With BG11 you draw thin flicks to about two-thirds of the line you put with BG10. (You do not have to blend it yet. That will come in a later stage)

 Step 3:  BG34 you draw little swipes, about one third of the bottom of the line.

After this step you start to blend.

First start with BG34, after that you start to blend with the other colours.

Step 4: First, you colour a fairly thick line with BG0000.

Repeat all steps until you have done the whole background.

 With these photos I want to show you how I coloured the head and body of the Crowntail Fish.

First of all, I start with a base and then I continue colouring. Everything goes on feeling.

I'm not trying to think but just go with the flow.

  

The image is a digital stamp "Betta Fish Crowntail"  from Fabrika fantasy.

I used the following Copic Markers to colour this print.

Crowntail Fish: Y35-38 and YR04-07-09

Background: BG0000 - 000 - 01 and BG10 - 11 - 34

Copic Opaque White for the dots

On the bubbles: Mod Podge Dimensional Magic.

The Seven Dwarfs

Hi Copic fans.

Occasionally you will work entirely in the wrong order. I've also done once again this time. In itself not a problem, you just deliver yourself a lot of work. When I bought this Seven Super Funny Dwarfs by Mo Manning, I printed them directly on Perfect Colouring Paper because I wanted to colour with my Copic Markers. During the colouring I had the idea to combine this with Gem-Tangles.

Probably, you have seen all kinds of versions of Gem-Tangles on the Internet recently.

Diny Sprakle hasshown us how you can do this with Copic markers or colouring pencils. But I wanted to go one step further. I wanted to incorporate letters instead. The letters and gems are drawn with a black Copic Multiliner 0.1mm and the fracture lines with colored Copic Multiliners.

The characters are made with a Letter Mask from the brand Dutch Doobadoo.

 After I was finished with colouring, I had a problem ....... what to do as a background? Luckily my husband had great idea ......why not a cave with diamonds?
 

 So I drew a few rocks, cut out and decorated them with modeling paste and let it dry overnight. I have them tinted with the Copic Airbrush. But still I'd not got the effect I wanted.

  So I thought I would go and see if I could find something that looked like diamonds. Fortunately, I found out that I still had some Ranger Stickles.That was just what I needed for a glitter effect. But when finished, it was still not to my liking.

 

Then the rest of the project should also receive a rocky appearance. First I placed a basic layer on my paper with the Copic Airbrush. I ripped white tissue paper into pieces and applied to the paper with Glazing Medium.  After drying, I have brought all tinted back with the Airbrush. By now you'd think you have what you want. 

 Fortunately there are more products I like to work with. So I added some depth with a few brown colours of Pan Pastel.

Finally, I could start building my project.

First I got the rocks and letters glued in place. Then I made a lot of little gems to bring back the colours of the gems in the background of the project. These colours I would have used on the dwarves but those details are so small that they do not stand out. By applying all those little blue and green gem it was still a beautiful whole.

Nature sprite is that she is just like a sweet hippie girl.

First I created this background with the gelli-plate. I used some old foam stamps and stencil by Plaid

Don't you just love the flowers in nature?
Our garden is already beautiful with all the flowers in bloom at the moment.
When the weather is nice then I'm colouring in the garden, so that I can really enjoy all the flowers. 

At the moment there are lots of beautiful flower stamps in the stores.

I used one of those stamps for this card..
 We have an insect and bird friendly garden; during the day there are all sorts of insects, butterflies and birds.

Goedendag Colourstock fans,

Zoals de meeste van jullie weten leveren ze bij Colourstock alleen eerste klas materialen.

Ik heb zelf een voorkeur voor een paar van die producten. Vooral Copic Markers, Molotow markers, PanPastel en Molotow Aqua Twins hebben een plaatsje in mijn hart verovert.

Er gaat eigenlijk geen dag voorbij zonder dat ik met één van de materialen gewerkt heb.

Deze keer ben ik los gegaan met de Copic Markers en Molotow Acrylic Markers.

Op het moment verschijnt de ene na de andere mooie stempel met bloemen.

Het is maar goed dat geld maar één keer kan rollen.

Want anders bleef ik stempels en digitale stempels kopen.

Deze keer ben ik aan het werk gegaan met stempels van Studio Light.

Ik heb de bloemen meerdere keer gemaskeerd en de vlindertjes heb ik later opgeplakt.

Je hoeft eigenlijk helemaal niet zoveel kleur te gebruiken om een mooi effect te krijgen

Voor de bloemen heb ik maar 2 kleuren gebruikt.

Ik heb eerst een onderlaag aangebracht met B23.

Daarna heb ik met V04 kleine puntjes aangebracht.

Daarna heb ik het hele bloemblaadje weer ingekleurd met B23.

Ik ben ook over het paarse van V04 heen gegaan.....daardoor zijn de kleuren mooi gaan blenden.

Ik wilde heel veel effect geven aan de groene bladeren:

Door de schaduw in te kleuren met T5 krijg je een mooie donkere schaduw.

Daarna ben ik het blad pas in gaan kleuren met drie groene markers.

De achtergrond is gemaakt met swiepende bewegingen.

Deze techniek leer je tijdens onze Copic lessen.

Deze keer heb ik voor onderstaande Copic Markers gekozen:

paarse hortensia blaadjes: B23 - V04

De witte puntjes in de bloemen zijn gezet met een Molotow Acrylic Marker.

Ik hoop dat ik jullie weer op ideeën heb gebracht.

 Hoi Colourstock fans,

Zoals jullie waarschijnlijk al gemerkt is ons hele team druk bezig met het promoten van de Molotow Aqua Twins. Tot een paar weken geleden was ik geen fan van nat kleuren.

Maar is dat zo veranderd na het kleuren met de Molotow Aqua Twins.

In die tussentijd ben ik een echte Molotow Aqua Twin fan geworden.
 Onder het Molotow Aqua Twin kleursysteem is van alles uitgebracht.: Aqua Twin markers, Aqua Inks(refills), blendervloeistof, Empty Twins, lege refill flesjes, reserve punten, Blendermarker, 3 maten sqeezes pennen ......echt een hele complete lijn, dus echt iets voor een kleurjunkie zoals ik.
Wat nog een leuke bijkomstigheid is dat je de blendervloeistof ook kun gebruiken in combinatie met andere kleurmiddelen op waterbasis.

Ik moet toch echt op gaan letten dat ik mijn Copic Markers niet ga verwaarlozen.

Want dit kleurt toch wel heel erg lekker.



Persoonlijk vind ik het heerlijk dat het systeem maar uit 24 kleuren bestaat (12 kleuren en 12 grijze markers)
Voor al deze kleuren hebben ze ook weer refills en daar ben ik mee gaan stoeien.
Want met Molotow Aqua refills is het mogelijk om je eigen kleuren te creëren.
'
1 van de kleuren die ik voor mezelf heb gemengd is de kleur olijfgroen.
Deze kleur vind ik toch wel heel erg mooi voor bladeren van bloemen enz.
Ik vond dit zo leuk om te doen dat ik maar meteen een paar kleuren voor mezelf heb gemaakt.
Een groot deel van die kleuren heb ik verwerkt in deze kaart.

Om jullie uit te leggen hoe je zelf een kleur mengt, heb ik er maar meteen een tutorial van geschreven voor onze Facebook pagina.

Natuurlijk moet je wel even lid worden van onze groep om de tutorial te kunnen downloaden.

Ik heb een paar kleuren voor mezelf gemengd.

Op deze kaart heb ik de volgende kleuren gebruikt:

Heel donker rood (een combinatie van rood, blauw en zwart)

Donker rood (een combinatie van rood en blauw)

Oker (een combinatie van geel en bruin)

Oranje/geel (een combinatie van geel en oranje)

Olijfgroen  (een combinatie van geel-groen en bruin)

Maar ook 035 - Warm grijs.

De hoeveelheid inkt je daarvoor nodig hebt voor het vullen van een hele Molotow Empty Marker, kun je terug vinden in de tutorial op onze FB pagina.

Voor het creëren van de hele dunne streepjes in de bloemen, heb ik een techniek toegepast die wij ook gebruiken bij de Copic Markers het zo genaamde zwiepen.
Door zo droog mogelijk te werken met de inkt, de 1mm sqeezes pen en een minimaal gebruik van de blendervloeistof.
Dit is iets wat ik je zo niet op papier kunnen uitleggen,
maar jullie wel kunnen leren tijdens 1 van de kleurlessen van onze docenten.

Verder heb ik nog allemaal kleine zwarte stippen in de klaprozen gezet met een Molotow marker.

En op de vlinder heb ik dat gedaan met de witte Molotow marker.

De klaproos stempel is van Penny Black

 De vlinderstempel is van Studio Light.
