Hi Everyone, it's Saskia here.
Because many people are big fans of cutie prints, I have chosen this time an image from Wild Rose Studio.
I want to show you today how to colour transparencies with Copic Markers.
I'll do this with the help of some photos. I chose to use the no-line technique because you get much more effect on transparency.
In advance, I decide what the colours of my balloon should be.
I chose a blue, pink and green balloons.
Step 1: Print your stamp with a light ink like Memento Angel Pink. Because you have a light colour, the colours disappear a lot while colouring.
Step 2: Make a small mask of a balloon.
Step 2: Make a small mask of a balloon.
Step 3: I draw the line with a light colour blue, because this balloon turns blue.
Step 4: This is also repeated with the other balloon that you can not see all outside lines.
I also did this in a light colour.
Step 5: Pull the balloon's outer lines completely into the colour of your balloon.
Now you to decide what order of your balloons are.
NOTE: This is important for your work order.
Step 6: Start the balloon on the back, this colour will be the first one. You only colour the parts that overlap the other balloons.
Step 7: Colouring the surfaces that overlap the other balloons in the corresponding colours.
Step 8: Now you do the same with the front balloon. Here too you just go over the other colours.
Step 9: Now you slowly shape your balloon. First, take a little shadow with a slightly darker colour. Step 10: Take care to fill the balloon slightly further with a lighter colour.
Step 11: Afterwards, you will expand some more colour,
putting the darkest colour on your shadow side.
Step 12: Now you really start dressing the balloon. By slowly building your colours.
Step 13: With the one lightest colour you close almost the entire balloon.
Step 14: The last part you colour this with your lightest colour to make it look like light.
Step 15: Then the rear balloon could look like this.
If you are not happy, repeat steps 11 through 14.
Step 16: Actually, we start again from now on, but now for the second balloon.
First, you will apply your shadow a bit with one darkest colour.
Step 14: The last part you colour this with your lightest colour to make it look like light.

If you are not happy, repeat steps 11 through 14.
Step 16: Actually, we start again from now on, but now for the second balloon.
First, you will apply your shadow a bit with one darkest colour.
Step 17: Carefully build the shape here too. First give shape to your lightest colour.
Step 18: Then you're going to shape your balloon with your middle colour, then your lightest colour. But make sure you leave a light space in the overlap of the balloon.
Step 19: Now you are going to apply the true shadow with the darkest color.
Step 20: Now you're going to colour the rest of the balloon, make sure you open a very big hole for the light effect. These you will create in the next steps.
Step 21: With the lightest colour you will close almost the entire balloon, But here you leave a gap. Step 22: Now, you will close the last one.
Step 23: With the outer balloon you will do something else (not much).
Here you first set a shadow with the darkest colour.
Here you first set a shadow with the darkest colour.
Step 24: With the middle colour you will shape your balloon.
But here too you leave a big space in the middle.
Step 25: With the lightest colour you colour the balloon so that you have a nice light area.
Step 26: Then it might look like this when you're done.
I stamped a few extra balloons that I coloured the same way.
As a background, I used a technique you learn in Copic Coloring 2.
